Early departure from Palmarium for a boat trip back along the canal
A beautiful boat ride with lovely lighting and views. We passed some fishing poles that are apparently for fishing brichte a delicacy in the area fished at full moon.
So another slow journey along bad roads to the port of Tamatave where we had our first close views of the Indian ocean with many more to follow.
Zo stopped to buy us a monkey orange from Africa to try! It was rather odd!
And so we finally arrived at the hotel 5 minutes ftom the boat at 5.30, settled into our room and the enjoyed a nice last meal with Zo. Keith and I had lobster tagliatelle!
So early to bed for another final early start tomorrow as long as the boat is going but apparently it hasn’t arrived yet!
