I don’t know why but, a week or so ago, I logged in to the Air Mauritius website to check our flights. To my horror I discovered that they had rescheduled our outward flight to the following day. With a full 30 day itinerary starting that day, there was no way this was going to work.
I feel a bit fortunate that I bothered to look; no-one had written to us to say that the flight had been changed; quite a failing on their part.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, we have had to cancel our flights with Air Mauritius and have rebooked with Turkish Airlines. The flight timings are very similar to the originals and the price is a little less than £300 cheaper per person – so (providing we get our money back from Air Mauritius) that’s a win!
All our accommodation in Madagascar has now been confirmed (there was one small change).
We are now in full preparation, planning what to take, buying mosquito repellent, etc. etc. etc. Madagascar here we come!
