After making a picnic we drove 30 minutes to Sutton Hoo and arrived early to queue to go in! We reserved our places for the Gruesome Graves tour at 1 pm and then went to enjoy a demonstration of Anglo-Saxon living by he local re-enactment society. We then went to take our timed visit of the treasure display .
We then watched a demonstration of fighting before going for the pinewood walk and picnic
And then onto the Gruesome Graves tour of the mounds and the details of the digs.
