Intermittently wet but clear drive up to Dieppe. Arrived nearly two hours early and got onto the ferry with no problems around 5 am. They only lifted the boot door quickly and didn’t need anything unloaded. Very rough crossing but survived without feeling too bad. No customs at all as we drove onto British soil so David needn’t have worried afterall.
It was so cold that we decided to continue on by 3 pm despite David being very tired. Good job too as Sheffield had alot more snow so we unloaded the car and got the trailor in the garage before it was too late. Temperatures around 1 degree though!
