Up at 6.20. Sue had slept well, but David had not and was feeling unwell.

We left at 8.20 to complete our journey down to Belo s/ Tsiribihina. David slept most of the way! We stopped suddenly at one point as the pilot wanted to buy some fish!

We began to see much more commercial river traffic with dug out canoes full of produce such as peanuts.

We arrived at Belo in time for a final lunch on the boat: chicken and rice (David gave it a miss!) Our driver, Zo, joined us for lunch.

After lunch we climbed back into our 4×4 to begin the exciting trip to Bekopaka. But first a toilet stop and a chance to see our drivers sense of humour!
