So, on to help Isaac and Antoine prepare their new flat for moving. Keys picked up today but Isaac is allergic to carpets so first job is to remove the carpet from the bedroom. Also called by our tenants to go and look at a drainage problem in Chewton Street on the way. Fun fun fun. Arranged for a man to come tomorrow!
Treated to a lovely home cooked cottage pie by Isaac on arrival.
Next day straight down to work fetching supplies from Wickes while Antoine and I (Sue) removed carpet and grippers. So the work began!
I helped with unloading the heavy boxes of laminate flooring from the car and then fetching some shopping with Isaac where we saw the Pride festival.
Finished the day with a lovely Indian take away and some Kir Royale to celebrate the new flat while watching The Grand Tour which went to places in Norway and Sweden that Isaac had been to!
