Still windy but the rain had stopped this morning. Enjoyed our last breakfast together enjoying the amazing view and the odd person that walked past in the sea carrying stuff!
Next, since Helen’s ankle is now showing some beautiful blues, greens and purples, I gave her a little massage to try and get the swelling down. And we set off at 10.30 in the car down the bumpy road to the airport. As we arrived we noticed the stage and were told the president was about to arrive!
We didn’t see him but some of his staff including the minister of defence arrived on the plane we were about to board!
We were pleasantly surprised to be offered a sandwich on the plane and also to see so many faces we had been with at Palmarium and on the boat to Ste Marie!
Then what a lovely surprise to be met by Zo at the airport with our bag and a little bag of local green tea to treat us again. Off to the same hotel we started in all those weeks ago, The chalet des Roses. David booked us our seats on the flights tomorrow and we chatted to Zo planning a little tour tomorrow before we catch our plane.
So we enjoyed a last meal together with a beautiful tropical fruit salad to finish with! And off to sort our bags and get ready for our last early start tomorrow!
