So we moved campsite to Eastbridge Farm which was the busiest we have been in with a very old wooden toilet shed. After dinner I persuaded David to take me to Thorpeness regatta: a display of decorated boats followed by fireworks; a delightful event round the lake called the Meare. We just got in before they closed the road and we managed to find a parking space on the very packed streets. The floats had been made by local families; they did 3 tours of the lake with the families on them. Themes included Stranger Things, Mamma Mia, Encanto and Top Gun. This was followed by some great fireworks. We found out next day that we had been seated just in front of Mark’s house .
