After the caravan battery played up last night we decided to go to a lovely campsite in Bilos with electricity to charge the battery. Passed through a beautiful wood with bracken and heather. We settled in and had a bbq ( of course!) and went back to le Teich for a birdwatching walk. We did see spoonbills and lots of egrets and herons but nothing very unusual. Very beautiful walk in the midst of lots of white furry flowers! Then we drove on to the Dune du Pilat and climbed the 160 steps to enjoy the sunset at the top with a few thousand other people! 6 euros parking for 4 hours.
