We set off at 8 am for another long walk from the campsite knowing it was forecast to be warmer today. Started with the walk down through Rocamadour and then along the valley to the right this time! There was a little house as we started to go up ( the first up!) with lots of arty features. We then followed the  Alzou valley with its canyons and springs. We arrived at Pou Meyssen which was a little hidden pool but obviously an entrance to go caving.  Then on to the Source de Cabouy where we actually saw people preparing to go caving and diving. Very noisy frogs aswell!

Continued past the Moulin de Caoulet which was a pretty trout farm.

And on past some lovely rocks to The fortified mill at Cougnaguet but we couldn’t go in to see it milling wheat as we had forgotten our money! And so on to the next up…

And up… With some surprise gems en route….. And up…

Finally arrived back at the campsite after nearly 20 km and about 700m climb. Time for a relax in the shade and then another barbeque!
