We have arrived at Bekopaka after the most amazing drive along a dirt track. It took 4.5 hours to do 90 Kms on a track that would totally delight the owner of any 4×4 in the UK.
Just before arriving we had to cross the river (car and all) on a ferry made out of 4 dug out canoes roped together!
Our hotel is lovely (we are here for three nights). The evening meal was very good … but David is still not eating and went straight to bed with 2 paracetamol instead!
