Molde

Yesterday was a sea day as we started iur voyage back down South. Nothing much happened – David slept most of the day still suffering from his cold.

Today we woke up in Molde, another beautiful Norwegian town.

We hadn’t planned anything for the day, so we decided to go for a gentle walk up the hill behind the town to get some views and to see the town a little bit.

David catching his breath half way up the hill.

The viewpoint was located within a park which also housed a cultural/folk museum. The museum was closed but you could explore the buildings and the park.

We were also lucky enough to catch a woodpecker hard at work!

We then walked back down to explore the town a little bit more.

Once back on board the ship, Sue decided to enter a table tennis competition (not something you want to do when the sea is rough!). She didn’t win.

When it was time to leave, the wind had come up a bit and we needed a tug to tow us away from the quay.
