We are now a long way North into the Arctic circle. Today the sun is due to set at 1.37 pm!
Again there is not much to see in the port. We have a tour booked this evening to go “chasing the Northern Lights”. The apps we have all been following were predicting significant activity this evening.
So, after being out for over 4 hours, we finally returned to the ship not having seen any Northern Lights. Our tour had a guarantee, so we should geta refund of 500Nok each. Oh well, you can’t see something that’s not there!
