In an act of purest optimism we are off to Scotland in search of the Northern Lights. We hope that if we go far enough and stay long enough then we will achieve our objective.
Of course there will be plenty of beautiful places to see on the way – even if the lights decide not to show themselves!
First stop on the way: Lindisfarne, the Holy Island.
