So to recover from the mega party in Dorset we returned to Sheffield and enjoyed a few days with Josh relaxing and catching up. We enjoyed a lovely walk with Keith and Helen in Monsall dale and prepared for the next adventure…
We then headed off to pick up our caravan from Doncaster on Tuesday 19 July to spend two nights with Amanda and Chris on their drive and exploring Lincoln.
And despite record temperatures locally of 37 degrees and Tescos fridges and freezers all packing up we managed to prepare ourselves for the New wine experience at Peterborough show ground. Two weeks of non stop work with the 0-4’s but a wonderful chance to get back to some lively worship and teaching which we have missed in France for many years. Its 8 years since we helped in new wine in 2014. We will try and forget the mammoth cleaning project of mice eaten stored toys which preceded the children arriving.
We also enjoyed the ladies football finals on the big screen, the atmosphere was electric when they finally won!
Not to forget a chance to meet up with new and old friends even if very fleeting. Crossed paths with Steve and Sharon Walker and Helen. Also a friend of Sue chrissene, Bryony.
