Wow, really getting spoilt with national trust properties and land on this holiday. Today was a visit to world heritage site Fountains abbey and Studley royal water garden. A fantastic guided tour with so much information about the abbey and gardens. Thoroughly recommend it! Not forgetting the hall, mill, listening tree and seven bridge walk all topped off with deer sightings and a trip back in the complimentary coach! Not to forget Fountain Hall and Mill where I rang the bell and the royal deer park where we had a long view of the church and Ripon cathedral in other direction. Apparently 1000 bats live in the roof of the tea House!!
