On Monday we will be starting our journey to Amsterdam as a sort of late 80th birthday celebration for Margaret & Michael and also a birthday celebration for Sue.
We will take the 6pm ferry from Dover to Dunkirk, where we will spend the night, before driving on through Belgium to the Netherlands on Tuesday. On Wednesday we will celebrate Sue’s birthday (more about that later) and then spend the next 7 or 8 days exploring Haarlem, Amsterdam and the surrounding area.

We will then return to France, spending one night near Giverny which will allow us time to go and visit the Monet gardens there.
